2.catch, grasp, seize 與snatch
catch是普通用語,用“設(shè)法抓住,捉住”的意思; grasp表示牢牢地“抓住”;seize指“突然用力抓住使不逃脫”;snatch 表示迅速的拉扯動(dòng)作、出其不意地“抓取”。 eg:
The police caught the thief as he ran. 小偷逃跑時(shí)被警察抓住了。
He grasped his gun and rushed out. 他抓起槍就沖了出去。
