1.教材分析
本單元圍繞“How do you get to school?”展開(kāi)教學(xué)活動(dòng)。以對(duì)上學(xué)過(guò)程中所要進(jìn)行的活動(dòng)為話題,要求學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)一些日;顒(dòng)詞匯的基礎(chǔ)上,恰當(dāng)?shù)倪\(yùn)用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)來(lái)描述自己對(duì)交通工具的表達(dá)與運(yùn)用。通過(guò)不斷地口語(yǔ)練習(xí),使學(xué)生積極參與、合作,從而培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力。
2.學(xué)情分析
我們這里的學(xué)生地處偏遠(yuǎn)的南部山區(qū),各種條件相對(duì)比較落后。這對(duì)課程的有效進(jìn)行是一項(xiàng)挑戰(zhàn)。且教材以“任務(wù)型語(yǔ)言教學(xué)模式”來(lái)展開(kāi)教學(xué)。這需要學(xué)生們具備一定的交際能力、語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)。因此,在教學(xué)過(guò)程中,加強(qiáng)對(duì)學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)交際能力練習(xí),讓學(xué)生在具體的情景中學(xué)習(xí),不但能培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對(duì)該課程的喜愛(ài),也有利于學(xué)生將理論與實(shí)踐結(jié)合,做到學(xué)以致用。作為教師,老師也應(yīng)當(dāng)兼顧到這三類學(xué)生:Top students, Medium students and poor students,要分別讓他們吃得飽、吃的好、吃得了。

采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)法
【點(diǎn)撥】本單元是圍繞學(xué)生對(duì)自己出行的工具而展開(kāi)教學(xué),所以學(xué)生的興趣極高。又因?yàn)榕c自己的日常生活密切相關(guān),所以比較容易接受。重點(diǎn)是讓學(xué)生正確使用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)與他人交流。這是重點(diǎn)也是難點(diǎn)。本節(jié)課的總體設(shè)計(jì)應(yīng)體現(xiàn)課標(biāo)中的從學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣、生活體驗(yàn)和認(rèn)知水平出發(fā),倡導(dǎo)體驗(yàn)、實(shí)踐、參與、合作與交流的學(xué)習(xí)方式和任務(wù)型教學(xué)途徑的教學(xué)理念。

Ok, good!So, today we are going continue to learn Unit4:How do you get to school? You know, last class, we have leant some new words of transportations. Now, let’s review. Please look at the PPT. (Ask students to say the words of each picture. They are: taxi, plane, bus, ship, subway, and bike)
Step3.New stuff
Yes, you guys all do the good job. Now, today, we will learn how to use these tools to communicate with each other. There are some set structures you need know, and please read after me: by the taxi, by plane, by bus, ride bike, take the subway, by ship.
Ok, now, I need some volunteers. Avery, how do you get to school? Bus!Ok, good. Ask others. Now, look at the blackboard!Introduce the sentence.
Step4.Activities:
Ask few students, round a circle, start with teacher, ask the questions: how do you get to school? Each student get one answer.
