        1)一般疑問句形式(General Question Forms) 該問句形式的構成很簡單,肯定句的主語和謂語中的助動詞was/were交換位置即可,同時將肯定句的句號變成問號。請看下表:

        2)特殊疑問句形式(Special Question Forms) 該時態(tài)的特殊疑問句形式同其他時態(tài)的 特殊疑問句形式一樣,一般情況下為“疑問詞+一般疑問句”,疑問詞在句中當主語或主語的定語時,整個問句為陳述句結構,請看下表:

        2. Were the Blacks writing a letter night? 布萊克一家昨晚是否正在寫信?

        “the+姓氏名詞的復數形式”表示“…夫婦”或“…家人”,其同義詞組是“Mr. and Mrs.+ 姓氏名詞的單數形式”或“the+姓氏名詞的單數形式+family”。這樣的結構在句中做主語時,謂語動語應用復數形式,如:

        The Turners are going back to England next week. 下周特納夫婦要回英國。

        3. A woman saw it happen when she was walking past. 一個婦女路過時看見那件事發(fā)生了。

        A. see sb. do sth. 看見某人做了某事。在感官動詞后,既可用現在分詞(doing)構成復合賓語,也可用不帶to的不定式構成復合賓語。用現在分詞時,表示動作正在進行或正處于某種狀態(tài),用不定式時表示動作已經發(fā)生了或強調動作的全過程或表示一般性的動作。如:

        ①I saw Tom go into the teacher's office just now. 剛才我看到湯姆走進了老師辦公室。

        ②When I got home, I saw Mary doing her homework. 我到家時,我看見瑪麗正在做作業(yè)。

        類似see這樣的感官動詞有watch, hear, feel等。如:

        ①We watched our students play football. 我們觀看了我們的學生踢足球。

        ②I heard someone knocking at the door. 我聽到有人在敲門。

        4. Let's move the bag, or it may cause an accident.

        我們把那個口袋挪開吧,不然它可能引發(fā)事故。

        “祈使句+and(or)+簡單句”是一種固定句型。句中的祈使句表示條件,相當于if引導的條件狀語從句。and用來表示前面的條件若實現了會產生的結果;or表示前面的條件若實現不了所產生的結果。如:

        ①Work hard, and you'll catch up with your classmates.

        ②Hurry up, or you'll be late for class.

        原句改為含條件狀語從句的復合句為:

        If we don't move the bag, it may cause an accident.

        5. After they moved the bag away, the girls let the traffic go again.

        在他們把袋子移開后,女孩子們才讓交通再次運行。

        此句可改為含…not…until…的句子:

        The girls didn't let the traffic go again until they moved the bag away.

        6. When和While的區(qū)別

        ①when是at or during the time that, 既指時間點,也可指一段時間,while是during the time that,只指一段時間,因此when引導的時間狀語從句中的動詞可以是終止性動詞,也可以是延續(xù)性動詞,而while從句中的動詞必須是延續(xù)性動詞。

        ②when 說明從句的動作和主句的動作可以是同時,也可以是先后發(fā)生;while 則強調主句的動作在從句動作的發(fā)生的過程中或主從句兩個動作同時發(fā)生。

        ③由when引導的時間狀語從句,主句用過去進行時,從句應用一般過去時;如果從句和主句的動作同時發(fā)生,兩句都用過去進行時的時候,多用while引導,如:

        a. When the teacher came in, we were talking.

        當此句改變主從句的位置時,則為:

        While we were talking, the teacher came in.

        b. They were singing while we were dancing.

        ④when和while 還可作并列連詞。when表示“在那時”;while表示“而,卻”,表對照關系。如:

        a. The children were running to move the bag of rice when they heard the sound of a motor bike.

        孩子們正要跑過去搬開那袋米,這時他們聽到了摩托車的聲音。

        b. He is strong while his brother is weak.

        他長得很結實,而他弟弟卻很瘦弱。

        【命題趨勢分析】

        1. 含過去進行時態(tài)句子的一般疑問句,特殊疑問句及反意疑問句,有可能出此類句型轉換。

        2. 本單元的幾個重點句型,如not…until,see sb. do/doing sth. 等易出單項選擇,改寫句子等題型。

        3. when與while的區(qū)別與轉換。

        1. Were you playing the piano last night? 你昨天一直在彈鋼琴嗎?

        play the piano彈鋼琴,play用在樂器名詞前要加the,又如:play the violin 拉小提琴,play the guitar. 彈吉它。

        但當它用在球類運動的名詞前時,不能用冠詞,如:play football/basketball

        2. I had a little accident last Sunday. 上個星期天我出了點小意外。

        have an accident 發(fā)生事故,發(fā)生意外。

        a traffic accident 交通事故

        3. She picked it up and gave it back to me. 她把它撿起來,還給了我。

        give sth. back to sb. 意為“把某物還給某人”,通?膳creturn sth. to sb. 互換,get sth. back(from sb. )意為“從某人處取回某物”。如:

        I want to get my book back from Lily. 我想從莉麗那兒取回我的書。

        4. He did not see the bag until it was too late. 他看見那個袋子時已經晚了。

        …not…until… 直到……才……

        Mary didn't go to bed until her mother came back. 直到她媽媽回來,瑪麗才去睡覺。

        這個句子的意思是:Mary went to bed after her mother came back.

        5. The man lay on the road. 那人躺在了路上。

        lay的原形是lie,意為“躺,臥,平放”。lay(過去式),lain(過去分詞),lying(現在分詞)。

        如:she found a small bag lying on the ground. 她發(fā)現地上躺著個小包。

        6. It's really nice of you. 你(們)真好。

        當別人為你做了事,幫了忙或送你禮物時,我們常用It's nice of you. 這一口語表示感謝,除此句之外,還可以說It's kind/good of you. (其中it也可由that代替)或It's kind/nice/good of you to do sth. (其中it不可由that代替)。

        7. Don't mention it. 別在意,不用謝。相當于Not at all. 用于回答thank you.

        8. You'd better not talk. 你最好不要講話。

        had better…后接動詞原形,其否定式為had better not…

        9. As quickly as he could, Miss Zhao got a medicine box.

        趙老師盡快取來了一只藥箱。

        as…as one can(could)=as…as possible,盡可能……,如:

        I'll return it as soon as I can. =I'll return it as soon as possible.

        10. With the medicine box under her arm, Miss Zhao hurried off to look after the man. 腋下夾著藥箱,趙老師匆忙去看望那個人。

        “with+名詞(+介詞短語)”所構成的介詞短語,作句中的伴隨狀語。如:

        Our teacher always comes to the classroom with a book in her hand. 我們的老師總是手里拿著書走進教室。

        11. Lucy called to see her. 露西去看過她。

        call to see sb. =call on sb. 拜訪某人。

        I called to see Mr. Green. 我曾拜訪過格林先生。

        12. The lady came to herself. 那個女士蘇醒過來了。

        come to oneself. 某人蘇醒過來。

        1. Uncle Wang finished his work, he went home. (not until)

        Uncle Wang home he finished his work.

        析:改寫本題時,應注意選對主句和從句,再將主句變?yōu)榉穸ň,從句由until引導。答案為:didn't go, until。

        2. I heard in her room a few minutes ago.

        A. her singing B. her sing C. she was singing D. all the answers all right

        析:此題考查感官動詞hear的用法,其它既可以接-ing形式做賓語補足語(表示動作正在進行),也可以接原形,即省略to的動詞不定式做賓語補足語(表示動作已經完成),當然它也可以接賓語從句,故應選“D”。

        又如:On my way to school I suddenly heard someone my name.

        析:此句結構為“祈使句+or+簡單句”,相當于含if的條件狀語從句,因此第一個空應填if。后面的主句由原句的may be變?yōu)楦痹~maybe,最后兩空分別為will happen.

        4. What was wrong with your classmate? (同義句)

        your classmate?

        析:what was wrong? 怎么啦? 它有另外一種表達方法:what happened to sb. ? 故應填what, happened, to.

        5. She went to see her father once a week last year. (對劃線部分提問)

        she to see her father last year?

        析:對once a week 提問,應用“How often”,此句中還應注意實義動詞,一般過去時態(tài)的一般疑問句形式。答案為How, often, did, go。
