        四、幾種不良傾向

          1、有人認(rèn)為高考成績高就行了,不練說也沒關(guān)系。其實(shí)我們現(xiàn)在學(xué)習(xí)英語已不僅僅是為高考了,而是要為高考后的生存與發(fā)展做準(zhǔn)備,也為個(gè)人與社會(huì)大環(huán)境接軌打基礎(chǔ)。更為個(gè)人向國外發(fā)展作必要的準(zhǔn)備。

          2、有人認(rèn)為多做題就能解決問題。人們常說:量的積累可達(dá)到質(zhì)的飛躍。但是盲目地追求數(shù)量而忽視質(zhì)量是不可取也是無效的。死扣語法不重視在一定的語境中體會(huì)、運(yùn)用知識(shí)也是不正確的。

          3、有人常立志而不是立長志。英語學(xué)習(xí)最怕“三天打魚,兩天曬網(wǎng)”。高興了干一陣,進(jìn)步了就停下。走走停停只能導(dǎo)致成績的起伏不定,最終導(dǎo)致興趣降低,自信心喪失,造成惡性循環(huán)。

          4、有人只會(huì)做或者是只做老師要求干的事。進(jìn)入高中階段,走向成熟的表現(xiàn)在學(xué)會(huì)自己學(xué)習(xí),要學(xué)會(huì)安排自己的學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容,要學(xué)會(huì)支配自己的學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)間。

        五、學(xué)好英語,上好英語課的幾個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)

          1、盡快適應(yīng)新環(huán)境、新同學(xué)、新老師,盡快適應(yīng)高中學(xué)習(xí)。

          2、課前認(rèn)真做好預(yù)習(xí)工作。因?yàn)檎n時(shí)緊,內(nèi)容多,強(qiáng)度大。不認(rèn)真預(yù)習(xí),課上會(huì)很被動(dòng)。預(yù)習(xí)要做到認(rèn)真聽錄音,模仿,掌握準(zhǔn)確的語音、語調(diào),了解單詞意思,課文內(nèi)容,找出疑難問題。

          3、課上認(rèn)真聽講,積極參與課堂活動(dòng),給自己更多的機(jī)會(huì)鍛煉聽、說能力,認(rèn)真適當(dāng)?shù)赜浌P記。高效率聽課,才能有高水平的收獲。

          4、課后要及時(shí)認(rèn)真復(fù)習(xí),按時(shí)完成作業(yè)是首要的。復(fù)習(xí)是為了鞏固課堂知識(shí),同時(shí)也應(yīng)適當(dāng)?shù)刈鲆恍┚毩?xí)。遇到?jīng)]有理解的內(nèi)容應(yīng)及時(shí)問老師,使問題盡快解決。

          5、要有適應(yīng)新環(huán)境的能力,同時(shí)應(yīng)有承受壓力的能力。要會(huì)調(diào)整自己,相信大家會(huì)以飽滿的精神狀態(tài),充分的心理準(zhǔn)備,順利適應(yīng)高中英語學(xué)習(xí)的。

          When the weather is hot, you go to a lake or an ocean. When you are near a lake or an ocean, you feel cool. Why? The sun makes the earth hot, but it cannot make the water very hot.           Some of the most interesting buildings in the world are the pyramids(金字塔). The pyramids stand huge and silent, and in modern days, people look at them and wonder,” Who built them? Why? When? What is inside? How did they do it?”

          Thousands of years ago, certain kings of Egypt built the pyramids. They used to build them as tombs. The kings thought the pyramids would help them find life after death. They also wanted the world to remember them as important people. Some pyramids were for queens, but they are less interesting because they are not as big.

          The oldest pyramid that we know today is the pyramid near Sakkara in Egypt. It is about 5000 years old.

          There are many pyramids along the Nile River. The largest is the pyramid of Khufu. It is made of 2,300,000 huge stones, most of them taller than a person. It is about 144 meters high. Inside the pyramid are the burial rooms for the king and queen and long passage ways to these rooms. The rest of the pyramid is made of solid stones.

          Workers usually built the pyramids when they had little or no work to do on their farms. To build the pyramid of Khufu, 100,000 men worked for twenty years.

          We know there are wonderful treasures in the pyramids. Robbers have dug into some of the pyramids and taken many of these treasures. However, today some of the treasures are in museums.

          How did the people of ancient days build the pyramids? How did they carry and lift upwards and upwards the huge stones? Each stone fits in with one another so well though they didn’t have our modern machines at all! The ancient art work of Egypt gives us the idea of a miracle. Scientists have studied the pyramids, but nobody can say just how they did it.
