        用句型What’s your favorite…? 問(wèn)最喜歡的東西是什么。favorite在這里是形容詞“喜聞樂(lè)見的,最中意的,最喜愛的”,用來(lái)修飾名詞。在英美口語(yǔ)中經(jīng)常用。

        例如:one’s favorite book 最喜愛的書

        還可做名詞,意為“最喜歡的人,最喜歡的物”。

        3. have 用法小結(jié)

        前面我們學(xué)習(xí)的have/has意為“具有”,是狀態(tài)而不是一個(gè)動(dòng)作。但have/has可以和某些名詞搭配,構(gòu)成固定的動(dòng)詞詞組,具有不同的意思。

        注意學(xué)習(xí)并掌握下面短語(yǔ),并注意have的意思。

        have breakfast/lunch/supper 吃早飯/中飯/晚飯

        have tea 喝茶 have fun 娛樂(lè)

        △date與day都有日子的意思,但有區(qū)別,用法不同。

        (1)day:①指24小時(shí)的一整天,也單指白天,與night相對(duì)。如:

        day and night 日夜

        ②表示星期與重要的日子,如:

        Children’s Day 兒童節(jié)

        (2)date: 指“日期”即“幾月幾日”如:

        The date of his birth is July 1, 1990. 他的生日是1990年7月1日。

        8. 介詞for的用法小結(jié)

        介詞fro在不同的情景中有不同的用法。

        (1)表示目的“為了”,如:I want to go back for my pen. 我要回去拿筆。

        (2)表示對(duì)象,用途等,“為”“對(duì)于”“適于”。如:bags for sports or school 運(yùn)動(dòng)包或書包 socks in all colors for just¥2 售價(jià)兩元的各種顏色的襪子。

        (3)引導(dǎo)時(shí)間段,表示一般時(shí)間。如:After school, I have gymnastics for two hours.

        (4)與動(dòng)詞搭配:look for 尋找,be late for 遲到。

        9. start 與finish

        start“開始”,反義詞finish“結(jié)束”。如:

        School starts at nine o’clock. 學(xué)校九點(diǎn)鐘開始上課。

        All my classes finish at 2:00. 我的所有課程在兩點(diǎn)鐘結(jié)束。

        10. 評(píng)論事物的表達(dá)法

        對(duì)事物的評(píng)論可有多種表達(dá)方式。如:

        11. 英語(yǔ)中星期的來(lái)歷及使用

        一年有365天、12個(gè)月、52個(gè)星期。一個(gè)星期有7天。英語(yǔ)中這七天的名稱大部分來(lái)自條頓族,是條頓族從羅馬人那里借過(guò)來(lái)的。

        星期日表示羅馬人尊崇太陽(yáng)而把這一天定為太陽(yáng)日,英語(yǔ)中太陽(yáng)為sun,星期日便稱Sunday,這是一周的第一天。

        星期一是羅馬人的月亮日,英語(yǔ)中月亮為moon,星期一便為Monday。

        從星期二到星期五都是條頓族定名的,依次為Tuesday(戰(zhàn)神)、Wednesday(眾神之王)、Thursday(雷神)、Friday(愛神),星期六Saturday則是羅馬人為紀(jì)念Saturn而確立的名稱。

        按照國(guó)際習(xí)慣,星期日為一個(gè)星期的第一天,星期六為一個(gè)星期的最后一天。

        表達(dá)星期時(shí)應(yīng)注意以下幾點(diǎn):

        (1)第一個(gè)字母要大寫,如:Sunday, Monday。

        (2)星期前面用on,如:on Monday, on Monday morning。

        (3)星期的縮寫Sun. ,Mon.,Tues.,Wedn.,Thur.或Thurs.,F(xiàn)ri.,Sat.。
