【拋磚引玉】
本單元通過一封美國筆友的信介紹了一名美國中學(xué)生的暑期生活,對(duì)剛度過暑假考上高中的新生來說具有現(xiàn)實(shí)的意義,為學(xué)生結(jié)合暑期自身經(jīng)歷,用英語操練提供了良好的話題。通過新學(xué)期第一單元的教學(xué),要使學(xué)生調(diào)整心態(tài)與學(xué)習(xí)方法,盡快適應(yīng)高中英語教學(xué),順利地完成從初中到高中的過渡;復(fù)習(xí)初中學(xué)習(xí)過的各種時(shí)態(tài)的特殊疑問句,進(jìn)一步熟悉英文書信的格式。
本單元的能力要求:
⒈Lesson 1:
A.重復(fù):重復(fù)教師或同學(xué)的例句,訓(xùn)練瞬間記憶。
B.造句:用對(duì)話中出現(xiàn)的詞或短語造句,在操練中掌握新詞語。
C.背誦:背誦對(duì)話,做到熟練掌握。
D.應(yīng)用:用第1課中出現(xiàn)的詞或詞組編寫新對(duì)話并表演。
⒉Lesson 2:
A:復(fù)述:①簡單復(fù)述,講述信的主要內(nèi)容即可;
②用5-7句概括信的內(nèi)容.
B:口頭作文:在腦子里設(shè)計(jì)一封給同學(xué)的信,并口頭表達(dá)。
⒊Lesson3:
A.造句:用所學(xué)的疑問詞where,which,what等造句。
B.對(duì)話:用所學(xué)的疑問句where,which,what等當(dāng)堂編寫對(duì)話進(jìn)行操練。
⒋Lesson4:
A.造句:用be good at,enjoy,prefer...to等詞語造句或重復(fù)教師所給的例句。
B.口頭作文:用be good at,enjoy,prefer...to等詞語口頭作文,3-5句即可。

【學(xué)法指要】
⒈ -I go to school by bike. What about you?

【解答】答案為B。"so+be情態(tài)動(dòng)詞+ 主語"表示用謂語所述情況同前文提及的情況一樣,意為"也一樣"、"也這樣"。該句型所使用的be動(dòng)詞、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞或助動(dòng)詞要根據(jù)上文去變化。
如果時(shí)間、條件允許,可以學(xué)習(xí)下面句型,即so+主語+ be/助動(dòng)詞/情態(tài)動(dòng)詞,并與原句型加以對(duì)比,注意兩種句型與原句主語的異同。
例如:
①A: It?/FONT>s a lovely day, isn?/FONT>t it?
B: So it is.
②My father promised to buy me a toy car and so he did.
⒉After saying hello to me, he went on __________.

【解答】答案為C。"go on doing sth ."意為"繼續(xù)作(原來作的)某事","go on to do sth ."是"接著作(另一件)某事","go on with"意為"繼續(xù)作某事",相當(dāng)于go on doing sth .,但 with的賓語必須是名詞或代詞。

【解答】答案為B。"as a result of"是短語介詞,后面必須接名詞,才能形成介詞短語。"as a result" 是短語副詞,在句中作狀語。because是連詞,后接從句;because of 是介詞,后面可接名詞。選項(xiàng)C如為Because of 亦可成為正確答案。since用作介詞時(shí),意為"自從",其短語不是原因狀語。
⒋I prefer rice ________ bread.

【解答】答案為A。"prefer A to B"意為"喜歡A,而不喜歡B","A"和"B"可以是名詞,也可以是動(dòng)名詞,但必須是同類結(jié)構(gòu)。又如:Mary prefers singing to dancing.

An Unusual Holiday
This summer I had unusual experience. It was raining heavily. Because of this the river near my town rose and flooded some of the rice field. The village was in danger.
The villagers including me went to the dam to make it strong. The PLA men also came to a help. We fought hard for three days. Finally the dam was saved.
The village was saved.
Though I become very tired after I returned home, I was very happy. I learned a lot from the villagers, the PLA men. I also learn a lot from my unusual experience.

此題要求你對(duì)一篇文章改錯(cuò)。先對(duì)每一行做出判斷是對(duì)還是錯(cuò)。如果是對(duì)的,在該行右邊橫線上劃一個(gè)勾(√);如果有錯(cuò)誤(每行不會(huì)多于一個(gè)錯(cuò)誤),則按情況改錯(cuò)如下:
此行多一個(gè)詞:把多余的詞用斜線(\ )劃掉,在該行右邊橫線上寫出該詞,并也用斜線劃掉。
