Step 1 Greeting
Greet the whole class as usual.
Step 2 Retelling
Ask the students to retell the main idea of the passage using some key words. Give them help if necessary.
Step 3 Pair-work
Ask the students to work in pairs and ask each other as many questions as possible. Give them some examples if necessary. Correct the possible mistakes.
Step 4 Free talk
Ex. 1 on page 60. Ask the students to ask each other the given questions. Later check the answers and correct the possible mistakes.
Step 5 Practice
Do Ex. 1 on page 61. Ask the students to fill in the blanks with questions. Later check their answers.
Step 6 Further Study about question forms
Tell the students when they are reporting other people's questions, they should change the order of the question. Give the students two examples:
1. A: Where do you live? B: Pardon? A: I am asking you where you live?
2. A: Are you from China? B: What does he say C: He asks if you are from China.
Give them more examples to help them grasp the basic rules. After that, give them some exercises to make the rules more clear.
