　　An ancient Hebrew text says," Love is as strong as death." It seems that not everyone experiences this kind of strong love. The increase in poverty, crime and war tells us that the world is in desperate need of true love. But what is true love?Love is something we all need but how do we know when we've experienced it? True love is best seen as devotion and action, not an emotion. Love is not exclusively based on how we feel. Certainly our emotions are involved, but they cannot be our only criteria for love.

　　古希伯來語中有這么一句話：“愛如死般堅(jiān)強(qiáng)�！憋@然不是每個(gè)人都能體驗(yàn)到如此濃烈的深愛，在我們的生存之地，貧窮在擴(kuò)散，罪惡在曼延，戰(zhàn)爭在涂炭生靈。這一切都表明，世界迫切需要真愛。但到底什么才是真愛呢？人們渴求愛，但我們怎樣才可以確信我們體驗(yàn)到了它的存在呢？真愛應(yīng)該是一種奉獻(xiàn)精神，是一種勝過言語的`奉獻(xiàn)行為，而不是僅僅建筑在我們感覺上的一種激情。愛當(dāng)然離不開激情，但那絕不是我們衡量愛的唯一標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
