　　In order to improve our spoken English, Develop our interest and motivation in learning English, provide a stage to show and enhance themselves, we have decided to host this English Speaking Competition., I hope This is a great afternoon, and this is a harvest afternoon.

　　為了提高我們的英語口語，培養(yǎng)學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣和積極性，給學(xué)生提供一個(gè)展現(xiàn)自我，提升自我的機(jī)會(huì)和舞臺(tái)我校決定舉辦這次英語演講比賽。我希望這是個(gè)快樂的'下午，也是一個(gè)收獲的下午。

　　In today's competition, there are 14 students; they are all the excellent students in each class. So, we sure that today will be a very wonderful competition.

　　This year there are altogether (數(shù)量) contestants to participate in the competition,

　　Before we start our contest, let me introduce the rules of this competition. Each of the contestants will have 3-5 minutes to finish own speech. The full mark will be 10.And each of them is judged according to the following 4 aspects: content (40%), language ability (25%), delivery skills (25%) and manners (10%).

　　現(xiàn)在請(qǐng)?jiān)试S我介紹本次賽事的比賽規(guī)則。所有選手在規(guī)定的3-5分鐘內(nèi)，本次比賽采取10分制。內(nèi)容 (40%),語言能力(25%), 表現(xiàn)能力 (25%) and 表現(xiàn) (10%).

　　The judging panel will give scores on the spot. In this round, after each

　　contestant finish the speech, the score will be announced immediately. After all the finalists finish the speech, the scores of all the speakers will be announced.

　　評(píng)委老師當(dāng)場打分，每3人公布一次分?jǐn)?shù)。最后三名選手的成績和最后的排名一起公布。
