arrive in和arrive at的`區(qū)別歸根到底是in和at的區(qū)別。
說at后接小地方，in后接大地方，未免有些籠統(tǒng)。其實(shí)，in和at的用法差異不是一個(gè)大小就可以說明的。
例如：可以說arrive in a town，也可以說arrive at a town。這里不能簡(jiǎn)單地來說arrive in a town中的town比arrive at a town中的town大。
正確的理解應(yīng)該是： 用in時(shí)，說話者強(qiáng)調(diào)“人”或“物”進(jìn)入某地“之內(nèi)”;用at時(shí)，說話者則強(qiáng)調(diào)“人”或“物”進(jìn)入某地“之點(diǎn)”。 當(dāng)這個(gè)“某地”較大時(shí)，表達(dá)“之內(nèi)”的可能性自然增大，而當(dāng)這個(gè)“某地”較小時(shí)，表達(dá)“之點(diǎn)”的可能性較大。
