幾個(gè)“應(yīng)該”的區(qū)別:should /ought /had better
1、should和ought to均用以表示應(yīng)該做某事,不過should常用得多:
例句:You should take the baby to the doctor’s.
Should we call the doctor?
3、 had better
We’d better hurry or we’ll miss the train.
4、過去時(shí)用should have或ought to have構(gòu)成:
例句:She should have asked for some help.
5、should not或shouldn't(以及在北美英語中很少見,在英國英語中為正式用法的ought not to或oughtn't to)表示不應(yīng)該:
例句:You shouldn’t drive so fast.
6、should not have或shouldn't have以及很少用的ought not to have或oughtn't to have均用于指過去:
例句:I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have lost my temper.
