《老人與海》的故事非常簡(jiǎn)單，講的是古巴老漁夫圣地亞哥在連續(xù)八十四天沒(méi)捕到魚(yú)的情況下，終于獨(dú)自釣上了一條大馬林魚(yú)。但這魚(yú)實(shí)在大，把他的小帆船在海上拖了三天才筋疲力盡，被他殺死了綁在小船的一邊，但在歸程中一再遭到鯊魚(yú)的襲擊，老人拼盡全力與鯊魚(yú)搏斗，最后回港時(shí)只剩下魚(yú)頭魚(yú)尾和一條脊骨。
