　　longing for

　　一個(gè)丁香一樣地

　　a lilac like her

　　結(jié)著愁怨的姑娘。

　　丁香一樣的顏色，

　　the color of lilac

　　丁香一樣的芬芳，

　　the scent of lilac

　　丁香一樣的憂愁，

　　with her sad look

　　在雨中哀怨，

　　wandering in vain

　　她彷徨在這寂寥的雨巷

　　strode down the lane

　　that look in her eyes

　　softly Passes by

　　gone like the dreams

　　misty but still feels

　　一枝丁香地，

　　drift across

　　我身旁飄過這女郎;

　　girl who left not being seen

　　到了頹圮的籬墻，

　　vanished and gone

　　走盡這雨巷。

　　Tears of the rain

　　散了她的芬芳，

　　took away her color

　　washed away her scent
