David Copperfield was written by Dickens and it is a long piece of fiction. The story is told almost entirely from the point of view of the first person narrator, David Copperfield himself. When reading this novel, I was totally attracted by not only the exciting plot but also the author‘s sprightly smooth and the humorous charming language.

The main character, David Copperfield is a diligent person who is good at observing. His father passed away in his early time, and his mother departed later, which made him make a living independently. At first, he was sent to do the child laborer. Latter, because cannot bear the maltreatment, he ran away to his aunt’s home. His aunt sent him to school, after graduate, he become a lawyer and marry his teacher’s daughter Dora. But soon, Dora died of disease and David leave for Australia with deep sorrow. After returning to homeland, he had become a writer and married Agnes, and from this time he starts the happy content life.

The novel plot is just like this, though there are not many soul-stirring scenes and imposing heroic achievement, lets me feel that I was appreciating a fresh picture.

David’s complex character allows for contradiction and development over the course of the novel. David experiencedmany things which were difficult and dangerous, when he was in trouble, his friends came to help him. Among those people, there were men and women, elders and children. Though they were different, all can render oneself in ones power assistance at difficult time. Due to have these truly friends, David can turn danger into safety and be pulled in the death edge by the companion again and again. What can let he pass the danger is the great human nature.

I thinkthe human nature passes through this book. In the novel, there are many art characters, in my opinion, these are the actually living character in the real life. These characters are not only lived in 19th century, but also live inthe present age.The human nature is divided into two parts, elegant and ugly. The elegant human nature should always be remembered by us and not be diluted by the time’s change. We should develop and let it lead the entire human nature for it has a great significance for our society. The ugly human nature should be forbidden and not appear in the society, it is not only does no significance to our society, even also can tow the hind leg which we progress.

The good servant Peggotty was kind all the time. She does not like to show herself in front of people, her kindness comes from her heart, and then I associate others in the world, some of them are hypocritical and unctuous. Which they can’t get rid of is their own interest. No matter what they do, they first think is that whether their interest will be destroyed or their purpose will be completed. They are selfish, and their mind should be corrected with the standard of Peggotty’s.

In our actually society, many people are similar to Steerforth, he is very cunning, he made friends with David then cheat his friends. At first, they pretended very gentle or outstanding to their friends, in fact, they had their own purpose. After having their friends confused, then the evil plan started. Taking advantage of other’s trust to cheat and running away when they completed the purpose. Their human natures are ugly and hateful.

But the man who was most hated is Uriah Heep. Uriah serves a foil to David and contrasts David’s qualities of innocence and compassion with his own corruption. Uriah and David not only have opposing characteristics but also operate at cross-purposes. For example, whereas Uriah wishes to marry Agnes only in order to hurt David, David’s marriages are both motivated by love He always displays very much base and low in front of others, as if he want to win others sympathy, he likes to do this at any time. Actually, he has other goal, when he cooperation with David, he want to make him breakdown and cause him to stain the excessive drinking abuse, he embezzled public funds and try to buy his office. I think there are many people who are similar to Uriah in the market, they always like to enjoy the process of destroying others to accumulate their own wealth. Sometimes they even cheat their closed person. In front of the family members, they are very successful and splendid, but no one know that they receive these by betrayed their own human nature. They obtain the splendid while harvested the evil. I think ordinary people will not want this kind of splendid.

We should inherit and carry forward the elegant human nature, make up for the discount mind. But for the ugly human nature, we should say firmly “no”, and defeats it with the elegant human nature. Only do this can our society become more beautiful and peaceful.

Winter vacation, I read a famous British writer dickens of a classic "David Copperfield", feeling a lot of enlightenment.

David, an ordinary boy. His father had died before his birth, leaving the young mother and nurse to take care of the little guy. Although didnt get a father, but under the care of the adults, David had a wonderful childhood. Until one day, mother love with a man, David had a stepfather, everything changed. Her stepfather as the devil, greed, stepfather, sister is a heart of stone. Warm home as cold as ice cellar, Davids mother soon in their siblings died under torture, David school for child labor.

Lucky enough to flee the scene, in the meantime, David stayed with my aunt Bessie. With the help of Bessie with Mr Dick, David received a good education, and meet with a friend. Although have been suffering, kindness, integrity, remain in Davids body. After accept the baptism of death and respectively, a successful career in business, David and reap the sweet of love.

And other works of dickens "oliver twist", it is more perfect, not only with the outrage when young, more mature, more close to reality. David, in his childhood and youth, David body that shares a pitch is impressive. If for me, I can also like David? The stepfather I would remain calm in the face of fierce? After so many failures, I still have hope? I think its hard for me to do it.

I see from Davids body, in a crisis, how important it is to have optimistic mind, only in this way, we can become the butterfly fly against the wind. In fact, success is not far away from me, as long as you stick to, always can catch him, but I often fear of failure, not forward. In the future no matter what difficulties, I must to Davids example and do a frail-looking, but never bend after wind and rain bamboo!

David Copperfield is one of the 48 books in the World Literature Treasury series. Although I have read several books in the World Literature Treasury, I still have a fondness for this autobiography of Dickens.

The main character of the text, David Copperfields father died six months after Davids birth, and when David was eight years old, her mother married Mr. Modestone, who and his sister were hard-hearted, and they did not like David, always thought of ways to abuse David, and also tortured Daweis mother to death.

After Davids mother died, his stepfather stopped letting him go to school and forced David to work as a child laborer. Life became more difficult for David as a child laborer, and six shillings a week made David save money and soon he stole away and joined his rich aunt, and was sent to school by her to get a good education.

Despite the hardships of his childhood, Davids kind, helpful personality remained intact and he eventually achieved a happy and fulfilling love.

David Copperfield taught me how to write an autobiography and that you can only succeed if you hone yourself.

David Copperfield" sounds like a persons name, but how can it be a book? I did see this book today, and I benefited from reading it.

The main character, David Copperfield, lost his father at birth and his mother remarried to a despicable man who was extremely harsh to David and his mother. After his mothers death, he first went to Mr. Micawbers house and later to his aunts house, and his fate was tumultuous and his life was turbulent. After experiencing various sorrows and joys, David finally gets together with his beloved Ennis, and the book ends in a happy atmosphere.

The main character David can not sink in the hardships and twists because of his positive spirit and persistent efforts. Just like the main character Santiago in The Old Man and the Sea, he fights bravely, not giving up in the constant attacks of sharks, but fighting back more forcefully. Faced with the hardships of life, David did not despair, "the courage to choke the throat of fate" (Beethovens words), and his optimistic attitude all the time influenced us.

In the future, we should have a positive spirit, optimism and perseverance in dealing with people, so that we can really succeed.

I gently closed Dickens pinnacle work "David Copperfield" and slowly closed my eyes, many touching scenes in the book came to me ...... in one scene.

The novel takes Davids growing up encounter as the main clue, showing us a broad social picture. David grew up with his mother, and lived a happy life with the help of Pogosti. However, one day the intrusion of the Modesto siblings destroyed the harmonious family, Davids mother was tortured to death, and he was forced to do child labor. Later, with the help of his Aunt Bessie, he finds her, and with the help of her, he resumes his studies and becomes an apprentice in a law firm and a famous writer. Later, he fell in love with the beautiful and simple Dora at first sight, but this immature love does not last long, Dora died, David fell into endless grief, has been deeply in love with him Ennis will not leave him, and finally a lover finally became a couple, David achieved a double success in love and career.

The book also ed a lot of wonderful stories, such as Mr. and Mrs. Micawbers tragic life encounter, Mr. and Mrs. Strangs twists and turns of emotional experience, as well as Heaps intrigue, etc., a moment to make people nervous, such as the abyss, a moment to make people afraid, such as the enemy, and a moment to make people happy, smiling.

It is comforting to know that David, the main character in the book, always maintains his diligence, integrity and benevolence no matter what situation he is in, and is loved by teachers and students. Although there are many cruel and vicious people in it, but no good, there are also many decent and kind people that I can not forget.

David Copperfield" is a semi-autobiographical masterpiece, about 800,000 words long. The book describes the early loss of his father, David suffered hardships and hardships, but he was thorny, tenacious struggle, and finally became a success, in career and life have been a happy ending. The book meticulously depicts Davids touching life journey and psychological changes on his way to growth. Around this central character, the author vividly portrays a series of characters of all kinds, both positive and negative. In the end, true nurture overcomes the evil force, and the good feelings of human beings overcome the evil brought by money. The success of this book is a profound portrayal of the life of the English middle class and lower class people, known as the 19th century England Victorian social life of the huge style of painting. Dickens himself loved this book so much that he himself wrote in his preface, "Of all the books I have written, this is the one I love best." When Holmium died in 1870, a child cried and said, "Is Uncle Dickens dead? Then Santa Claus is dead, too." Dickens was like the personification of Santa Claus to the child.

This summer, I read a book called "David Copperfield".

The main character of this work, David Copperfield, was never loved by his father. Copperfield never received his fathers love, and his mothers remarriage put him in a desperate situation, making him enter society at an early age. Although David experienced trials and tribulations in the process of growing up, he did not get discouraged, but desperately tried to fight for a better life with his own efforts and kindness, and after a series of failures, blows and trials, he finally achieved great success in his career.

This work is the most autobiographical novel of the great English realist writer Dickens. It narrates the profound reality of the life of a wide range of British society in the nineteenth century, giving people a feeling of vicissitude and poignancy, I admire David? Copperfield, admire him in a desperate situation can still persevere, admire him through trials and tribulations, but he did not get discouraged, admire him after a series of failures, blows and tests, perseverance, success. This makes me know what to do, do not give up if you fail, do what you will succeed if you try hard, and be a good, upright and kind heart.

During this winter vacation, I read the book "David Copperfield". This book describes the tragic childhood of the main character and his success through unremitting efforts. In the book, Davids childhood is extremely tragic and full of darkness. First his father dies of illness, then his father brutally beats himself, and he is sent to boarding school, where he is also threatened by the principal, but his time at school is not all that violent. He made at least a few friends, but there are good and bad friends, in front of the apparently good but bad friends inside, David did not even notice, so that later brought misfortune to his family. After a series of trials and tribulations, David grows up to be an adult, and with the memories of his childhood and his unremitting efforts, David eventually changes his fate, thus forming a harmonious family and gaining success in his career.

This book has inspired me a lot. Some people say that God has planned a long and unchangeable journey for man since he was born. But this book refutes that statement. David was sad, that is undeniable. But his subsequent efforts led him to change his fate and come out of the shadows. I understand that "David Copperfield" is only a novel, not convincing enough, but in front of each example, this little book is telling people: at the door of fate, only fear not to try, as long as you try, God must give you a chance to "choose" your own fate. In the face of many events, effort may not be the main solution to the problem, but it is an important element that is indispensable.

After reading the book David Copperfield, I could not calm my mind for a long time. The character of David is so distinctive and makes people interested in him.

His father died before he was born, his mother remarried when he was eight, his stepfather, Mr. Modestone, was harsh and brutal, and his sister, Miss Modestone, was just as hard-hearted and unsympathetic, and David was subjected to many unkind people during his growing up process - a cruel schoolmaster, a cunning friend, and the evil-minded Yulia Shipp. However, there is no shortage of good people in Davids life, including the lovely Nanny Piggotti, the quiet and inarticulate Mr. Barcus, the seemingly serious but kind-hearted Aunt, the unhappy Mr. and Mrs. Micawber, who are sometimes cheerful and sometimes depressed, but always looking forward to the "turn of events", and the quiet and gentle There is the quiet and gentle Agnes, a wise and caring friend; and Dora, a most lovely Dora.

The book is mainly about Davids life and his wonderful emotional history, and finally, he lived with his beloved one.

This story tells me that in this world, outsiders are generally not trustworthy, especially those who look very beautiful on the surface, but very evil inside. So we should not trust others easily when we interact with friends, maybe unknowingly one of your friends is carrying out his terrible plan. As the saying goes, you dont know who you are, you dont know who you are!

This book describes the lifelike characters. Have a kind pure old nannies peggotty, a quiet clever Alice, seemingly serious yet has a bodhisattva heart s wave, there are vicious brutality, treacherous moder stone, sister and brother and sinister and spectrum...

Before David Copperfield was born, his father died. Mother in the assembly at the age of seven remarried. Davids stepfather is a fierce greedy guy, sister is a wrong person.

David Copperfield" reveals the real face of the society at that time through the tragedy and happiness of the main character Davids life, and highlights the corrupting effect of money on marriage, family and society. The formation of a series of tragedies in the novel are all caused by money. Modest Stone deceitfully married Davids mother is coveting her property; Emilys elopement is unable to withstand the temptation of money; Wakefield familys suffering, Haimus despair, none of them is the evil consequences of money. The scumbag Heap also fell under the temptation of money step by step, and finally ended up in a shameful end of life imprisonment. It is from a humanitarian point of view that Dickens exposes the evils of money, thus unveiling the beautiful curtain of the "Victorian Age" and revealing the hidden truth of society.

I feel more intimate with this book than Mr. Davids friends, these have made me feel a little comfort in seeing your suffering and cold heart, for Davids special friend Stiefolz, I and Davids views seem to have a principle difference, perhaps this is due to the limitations of my thinking, I can not help it, please do not blame. Yes, he was a defiant and deterrent to the ignorant tyrant principal of Salem School, Kriegur, who only relied on severe beatings as a means of education, and a benefactor-like character who saved David from being bullied and tricked by his classmates. But the evil he commits is not comparable to the good he does, and the two cannot cancel each other out, and even if they could, the rest would certainly be a big negative.

What is your childhood like? Is it full of happiness or sadness? Is it full of harmony or quarrel? Or full of unfair treatment like the childhood of David, the main hero of “David Copperfield”, written by Charles Dickens in 1849?

David Copperfield was born six months after his father’s death. He had a happy childhood before his ninth birthday. But after his mother’s remarry and death, everything changed. His had to work in the laboratory of his stepfather when he was only ten years old! David ran away to his aunt for shelter, and begun his adventure of a new life.

Perhaps you will be curious about his later life. Yes, later on, David did have a happy life: he was send to school by his kind aunt and married a lovely girl and had many kids in the end.

You might think it’s too easy for David to be successful: What did he do? He just ran away to his aunt! But, if you were David Copperfield, would you run away? Do you have the courage to run away? Do you have the ability to run away? Can you conquer the difficulties you might have on your way to go? Well, you might be irresolute, hesitant since most of us, who are the apple of our parents’ eyes, the princes or princesses at home, are not able to suffer those possible sufferings. Therefore, we may miss the best opportunity to run away and even miss the chance to be happy or successful!

Do you think David’s trip is a smooth sailing? No! He had been tricked and lost all his money, so he even walked to Dover, where his aunt lived. Children, who were born after 1990, are growing under multiple protections of parents, teachers and relatives, we don’t have to worry about the fees of education, we don’t have to worry about food, and we don’t have to worry about housing either! We are so lucky to own all these things! And we are clever, healthy, and have rich materials for living and study, but we are still in some aspects. What are we penurious, and what are we still in want of? We are in want of something on the spirit, like courage, bravery and willpower! We are in want of some abilities, like how to conquer difficulties, which might happen to us everyday! Then, what kind of courage? The courage to fight against thieves and robbers? No! It’s the duty of the police officers’, not yours! What you need, is the courage too make a good choice or a right decision! The courage to be responsible for your action! Then, what kind of abilities? The ability to save people’s life? No! It’s the responsibility of the doctors, not yours! What you need is the abilities to conquer the difficulties brought by your decision!

You may ask: If David’s aunt also treated him very bad, what would he do? Would he run away again? I don’t know whether he will run or fight against or do something else. But I do know that what ever he does, he won’t stop pursuing the steps of happiness! What we need is not simply the courage to make a good decision or a choice. What we really need, is the belief and courage to seek the heaven of joy and cheer.

So, don’t be afraid of your right decision! Make full preparation and then, go ahead! Don’t be hesitant! Many persons become successful, because they made a good decision and got ready, and then went right to their goals! This kind of character will make lots of contributions to our future life!

Ha-ha, let me ask you again! Would you run away or not, if you were David Copperfield? Not matter what your answers are, please don’t stop searching your happiness.
