the importance of building up one's confidence
one can surely achieve something as long as he or she has great confidence in themselves. and it will help us greatly in both our life and work. confidence will lead to a better probability of success when you are working on something either important or not.
however it would be a disaster if one lose's his or her confidence in themselves which will have a bad impact on what you are doing and finally you will lose your self in life.
to build up great confidence one has to believe in himself or herself whatever they are doing and more importantly to foster the capability by learning more relevant knowledge and putting it into practice.

In the past in America, children were valuable workers. For example, they helped on the arm or in the family business in order to bring in money. Just a couple of generations later, attitudes have changed. Now children are hardly expected to work at all. Modern children often don’t even do chores. This is sad, because I think that they are missing something if they don’t help out at home. Sharing in household tasks benefits children of all ages.
First of all, household tasks build skills. Very young children learn motor skills and classification skills when they pick up their toys and put them away. Talking about how to do things helps them learn to analyze situations. Older children learn skills they’ll need as an adult. Cleaning and cooking may seem dull, but knowing how to do them well makes life a lot easier. How many young adults leave for college unable to do their own laundry or cook anything besides a frozen microwave dinner? It’s amazingly common.
When everyone in a family helps out, the family is happier. Nowadays it’s common for both parents to work . when they come home, they have more work to do. Life is stressful and there’s no time for fun. By sharing household tasks, everyone gains. Children can help their parents with simple tasks such as picking up their own rooms, putting away their own laundry, starting dinner occasionally, or taking care of younger siblings. Then the family can relax together, and parent won’t feel like servants to their “couch potato” offspring.
The most important thing children learn from helping with household tasks is responsibility. Handling everyday tasks teaches organization and time management skills. Children learn that chores have to be completed before they can play, or before they get their allowances. Children who understand that effort pays off will be more successful later in life.
Kids should not work all the time. A happy life needs balance. But if they can successfully handle tasks at home, they will handle life better too. They will know the satisfaction of doing a good job, be involved in family life, and become more confident and responsible adults.

On Attending School from a Young Age
Mostchildren used to start attending school at their six or seven years old whilenowadays more and more children in cities start attending school from a youngage. Concerning this phenomenon, some people hold that it is good forchildren’s development to attend school in an earlier age while others entertainopposite opposition. From my point of view, I am inclined to support the formerone. The reasons are as following.
First, to attend schoolfrom a young age provides a better environment for children to grow uphealthier, especially those children in cities. With the need of work, many parents incities cannot spend a lot of time with their children and that will influencechildren developing healthy. In contrary, if children have a chance to attendschool at their earlier age, they will get more chance to play with theirfellows, which is good for them to have an unforgettable childhood.
Second, it ishelpful for children to independent from their parents. If children attendschool from a young age, they will be taught to deal with their own things atan earlier age and learn to be independent.
Finally, to attendschool from young age, children have more chance to meet with different peopleand encounter various situations, which has a contribution to their adaptationto society and their practice of strain capacity.
Therefore, Iadvocate that children should attend school from a young age. However, parentsalso need to spend more time with their children at the same time so that theycan have more chance to communicate with each other.
論金錢(qián)On Money
Different people have different attitudes towards money. For example, some of the rich are very mean with their money, whilesome of them are quite generous. Some people lack of money but they are not absorbed in pursuit ofwealth while some people regard money as everything. As faras I am concerned, money is necessary for all of us, but it is not all for us.
For one thing, money isnecessary for all of us. In modern society, money is one of tools for measure thevalue and can be used to exchange materials. 恐歸族之我見(jiàn) My Views on Home-fear Group
In recent years, there are a group people who work far from their hometown and unwilling to go back to see their family appears, those people we call them home-fear group. Maybe in the eyes of ordinary people or even in their parents’ eyes, they are a little bit of cold blood, and unfilial. However, there are too much reasons to make a person to become a part of home-fear group.
In the first place, sometimes we come home to celebrate the Spring Festival is more tired than go to work. As a Chinese, we have all seen the transport during the Spring Festival, which is terrible. The train was a sea of people, the passengers have to squeeze each other for 5 hours at least. And when people at home, they still can’t have a good rest, there are endless dinner parties and visiting waiting for them, which is exhausted.
In the second place, for the people who didn’t earn too much money, celebrate Spring Festival could make them plunged into financial crisis. There is no doubt that they have to give red packet to relatives’ children, and with the improvement of material living standard, if your red packet is under 100 Yuan that could be an embarrassing thing. Moreover, the spending of all kind of classmate reunions could be huge.
As a consequence, we should blame less the home-fear people cold blood, and care them more. I believe extend the lunar New Year holiday and increase salary can be a good solution to reducing the number of home-fear group.
The Real Champion
As the Asian Game is going on, we can see so many exciting games these days, there are so many champions coming out every day, we are happy for them, because they are working so hard and they deserve it. But still some champions are checked out to take the drugs, they get the championship with the help of the drugs, it is so shameful of them, they are not the real champions.
To be a champion is not easy, the athletes must be working hard for a long time, most of them spend day and night to get trained, they have to leave their parents for a long time, they can see their parents when the festival comes. To be the champion is such a great honor, the one who gets the championship without the fair competition should be condemned, he does not respect his rivals, it is so shame on him.

The Importance of Roommate Relationships
Recently a lot of bad news about roommate in college was reported, like roommate was stabbed, roommate was poisoned, which have been a wake-up call for students to establish a good relationship with their roommates. In my point of view, I think is very important to maintain a good relationship with roommates. I have several reasons to support my point.
In the first place, good roommate relationships could help student not only in study, but in life. As we all know, if you are being nice to others, others would do the same thing to you, unless the one who don’t accept your attitude. In college, students need each other’s help to improve their study, it is teamwork. In dormitory, they still need each other, for instance, look after for someone when they get sick. If you are in a bad relationship with roommates, you are never going to enjoy the treatment.
In the second place, establish a good roommate relationship could help students to build a good personality. Children in modern times are spoiled mostly, they are always the princess or prince in the family. When they live in the dormitory, it’s hard for them to get rid of their bad temper, they still think others should be nice them, or they are hardly to notice they are mean to others, which is the main reason to cause roommate troubles or tragedy. If they know how to establish and maintain a good roommate relationships, they certainly will become the one who with good personality.
Therefore, establish and maintain a good roommate relationships is very important. It is good for student’s study, life environment, and helping them to be a nicer people, what’s more important, lots of tragedy can be avoided.

Young girls’ affection for Da Shu shows that they are eager to be mature and explore the world, while they should grow up by themselves, instead of putting their emotion on the older men.
leave him alone" i yelled as i walked out of the orphanage gate and saw several of the spring park school bullies pushing the deaf kid around。 i did not know the boy at all but i knew that we were about the same age, because of his size。 he lived in the old white house across the street from the orphanage where i lived。 i had seen him on his front porch several times doing absolutely nothing, ecept just sitting there making funny like hand movements。
in the summer time we didnt get much to eat for sunday supper, ecept watermelon and then we had to eat it outside behind the dining room so we would not make a mess on the tables inside。 about the only time that i would see him was through the high chain—link fence that surrounded the orphanage when we ate our watermelon outside。
the deaf kid started making all kind of hand signals, real fast like。 "you are a stupid idiot" said the bigger of the two bullies as he pushed the boy down on the ground。 the other bully ran around behind the boy and kicked him as hard as he could in the back。 the deaf boys body started shaking all over and he curled up in a ball trying to shield and hide his face。 he looked like he was trying to cry, or something but he just couldnt make any sounds, i dont think。i ran as fast as i could back through the orphanage gate and into the thick azalea bushes。 i uncovered my home—made bow which i had constructed out of bamboo and string。 i grabbed four arrows that were also made of bamboo and they had coca cola tops bent around the ends to make real sharp tips。 then i ran back out the gate with an arrow cocked in the bow and i just stood there quiet like, breathing real hard just daring either one of them to kick or touch the boy again。
"youre a dumb freak just like him you big eared creep" said one of the boys as he grabbed his friend and backed off far enough so that the arrow would not hit them。 "if youre so brave kick him again now" i said, shaking like a leaf。 the bigger of the two bullies ran up and kicked the deaf boy in the middle of his back as hard as he could and then he ran out of arrow range again。the boy jerked about and then made a sound that i will never forget for as long as i live。 it was the sound like a whale makes when it has been harpooned and knows that it is about to die。 i fired all four of my arrows at the two bullies as they ran away laughing about what they had done。
i pulled the boy up off the ground and helped him back to his house which was about two blocks down the street from the school building。 when we reached his home his sister told me that her brother was deaf but that he was not dumb like the two bullies said。 that he was very smart but could not say or hear anything。 i told her that he did make a sound when the bully kicked him in the back。 she told me that i must be mistaken because all her brothers vocal cords had been removed during an eperimental surgery, which had failed。the boy made one of those hand signs at me as i was about to leave。 i asked his sister "if your brother is so smart then why is he doing things like that with his hands?" she told me that he was saying that he loved me with his hands。 i didnt say anything back to her at all because i didnt believe her。 people cant talk with their hands and everybody knows that。 people can only talk with their mouth。
almost every sunday for the net year or two i could see the boy through the chain—link fence as we ate watermelon outside behind the dining room, during the summer time。 he always made that same funny hand sign at me and i would just wave back at him, not knowing what else to do。
on my very last day in the orphanage i was being chased by the police。 they told me that i was being sent off to the florida school for boys reform school, at marianna so i ran to get away from them。 they chased me around the dining room building several times and finally i made a dash for the chain—link fence and tried to climb over in order to escape。 i saw the deaf boy sitting there on his porch just looking at me as they pulled me down from the fence and handcuffed me。 the boy, now about twelve jumped up and ran across san diego road, placed his fingers through the chain—link fence and just stood there looking at us。

How to Solve the Problem of Heavy Traffic
Nowadays, people in many big cities are complaining about the heavy traffic. It has seriously influenced people's daily life and economic development. To solve the problem, some pieces of advice are put forward. Some people suggest that more streets and roads should be built. In this way,
the traffic density can be redncedi hence speeding up the flow of buses and cars. But the new roads and streets will be filled with many cars and buses soon.
Some people advise to limit the number of bikes and cars. This can decrease the traffic flow. But on the other haad, this will affect the consumption and make buses more crowded.
In my opinion, the number of private cars should be put under control. And at the same time, buses should have their own special routes which cannot be used by other vehicles. Besides, underground train and city train should be developed quickly.
