So the naughty John pretended to have passed out in the classroom. When Mr. Smith came in, he was so scared that he held John in his arms right away. On the way to the hospital, John burst into laughter suddenly, which made the teacher confused. After we told him that it was only a joke, Mr. Smith laughed too. 1979年45歲時(shí)第一次隨團(tuán)去法國和德國參觀。當(dāng)時(shí)我能閱 讀自己熟悉的專業(yè)書刊，算是代表團(tuán)中英語水平比較高的。但一到外國，除了一般的問候語以外幾乎都聽不懂，說不了，所以根本聽 不懂技術(shù)講解。對(duì)于熟悉的專業(yè)書面材料，如果是用大寫字母寫成的說明，一時(shí)還反應(yīng)不過來，需要在腦子中翻譯成小寫才看得懂。 代表團(tuán)團(tuán)長還不時(shí)地鼓勵(lì)我“膽子大一些”。其實(shí)哪里是什么膽子大小的問題，聽不懂，說不了，看不懂，哪里來的'膽子？
