地球是我們人類的母親，地球是我們共同的家園。我們喜歡碧海藍天，喜歡看海鷗飛翔;我們喜歡冰封雪飄，喜歡聽松濤轟鳴;我們喜歡鶯飛草長，喜歡聽小鳥歡唱;我們喜歡在清晨看大海日出，喜歡在夜晚數(shù)滿天繁星。我們希望我們的地球更美麗、更漂亮。
但是，因為不合理的開發(fā)，因為各種自然資源的浪費，全球性生態(tài)破壞、各種環(huán)境污染越來越嚴重。現(xiàn)在，全球每年有600萬公頃的土地淪為沙漠，20xx萬公頃森林在消失，平均一小時就有一種物種在滅絕。并且，地球的氣溫也在不斷升高，南極冰冠開始溶化，海洋平面將不斷升高，世界上許多沿海城市、島嶼和大量土地，將被海水吞沒。所以說，愛護環(huán)境，是我們共同的責任。作為地球的小主人，我們要心系全球，著眼身邊。在生活中不用一次性的用品;在洗手時及時關上水龍頭;多彎彎腰不隨地亂扔果皮紙屑;多走幾步不穿越綠化帶;多提醒周圍的`人一同注意環(huán)保。

我簡直不敢相信自己的眼睛：只見姥爺捧著一本英語書一本正經的朗讀，表哥正在旁邊一邊認真地聽著，一邊點著頭呢！老爺讀完了，表哥就像一位小老師似地說：“學了這么多，累了吧？學以致用，學英語主要為了應用。今天我教你一個單詞，注意我發(fā)音時的口形。yes！yes！也就是‘是’的意思。”
“yes！yes！yes···”老爺反復認真的讀著，盡管念得不是很標準，可就他這年齡來看也夠好的`了。
中午，姥姥做飯時，發(fā)現(xiàn)醬油用完了，看到姥爺坐在沙發(fā)上正悠閑的讀英語，就大聲喊著：“老伴，快去買醬油！”姥爺愣了一下，“醬······醬油？”然后醒悟似地馬上站起來，舉起手向姥姥敬了個禮，說了一聲：“Yes！”“耶絲，什么是耶絲？”姥姥一臉疑惑，我和表哥卻忍不住大笑起來。
