I have a lot of friends, but I have only a few good friends. One of them is my best friend. We are both twelve years old. He is fat and tall. He likes to eat oranges and meat. He is very straight and generous. We always help each other. He is a nice boy and his math is very good. He likes to play football and basketball. I enjoy playing with him because I can learn a lot from him.
He can always come up with smart answers to those difficult questions. We usually play together after school in the afternoon. He is very funny and sometimes he tells me some interesting stories but sometimes he sets me up. After all we get along well. But sometimes we fight each other.
His goal is to be a math teacher. He lives in LinShan and I live in Xiangshan. But we are good friends.

每當我們上英語課的時候，老師就會教授我們豐富的知識。我越來越喜歡英語了，因為在英語學習中我找到了許多樂趣。首先是記單詞的樂趣。以前我最痛恨記單詞，那么多單詞像一鍋粥似的攪在一塊兒，根本分不清誰是誰。有時是和漢語拼音混淆在一起；有時是單詞之間互相混淆，把這個單詞記成另一個單詞；更糟糕的是，我根本不知道自己在拼什么。可是，自從我學習了音標后，我就發(fā)現(xiàn)了許多記單詞的竅門，比如，許多發(fā)音是由固定單詞拼寫而成的。比如ph發(fā)[f]的音，C常發(fā)[k]的音。有了學習方法，我覺得英語學習輕松又有趣。它不僅使我多學了一門語言，更為我開啟了一扇通往異域文化的大門。
現(xiàn)在，我的閱讀面擴大許多，不僅看中文故事，還試著讀一些英語小短文，我尤其愛看英語幽默，笑話，常常樂得開懷大笑。第一，當然是故事有趣，惹人發(fā)笑；第二是因為讀懂了，高興地忍不住想笑。漸漸地，我的閱讀理解能力大大提高了。以前，看到文章中生詞多，就覺得頭暈眼花，有畏難情緒；可現(xiàn)在呢，我不再拒絕新單詞了，因為我會根據(jù)上下文的意思，猜個八九不離十，即使猜錯了，也不影響對整個故事的理解。哈哈，會雙語的'感覺真好！上課時我們用心地配合老師讀單詞、學習句子、掌握知識點……老師上課時，當我們回答對了一個又一個的問題，老師嘴里就會不停地說著“good”（棒）、“OK”（好）之類表揚的話，大家完全沉浸在英語的海洋中，歡聲笑語久久回蕩著。
