動(dòng)物英語作文 篇1
The snake is a long and thin animal that lives in grass or other dark places. 蛇是一種又長(zhǎng)又瘦的動(dòng)物,生活在草叢里和陰暗的地方、A snake has no legs or feet, but it can move very fast on its stomach.蛇沒有腿和腳,靠胃部飛快的.移動(dòng)前進(jìn)。 Snakes usually have green, yellow or black skins, which make them difficult for their enemies to find them. 蛇常常有綠色,黃色和黑色的皮膚,使得敵人很難找到他們。Some kinds of snakes live in water. They can swim as freely as fish.有些蛇生活在水里,他們能像魚一樣飛速的游移。
Snakes are cold-blooded animals. In winter they hibernatein holes which are narrow enough only to hold the snakes' bodies. The snakes can sleep through a whole winter without eating and moving. They can not feel any pain. The hibernation period lasts about five months. When spring comes, the snakes come out and begin their normal life.
Snakes can take many things as food, such as mice, sparrows, frogs, birds' eggs, pests and so on. People sometimes can see a snake eat a sparrow. First it moves close to the sparrow, then it puts out its tongue and brings the sparrow into its mouth and swallows it, which makes a lump in the snake's body. After some time the lump disappears.
As snakes are dreadful-looking, people are afraid of them. Many people drive them away whenever they see snakes. But in Chinese fairy tales, snakes are by no means bad. They seem to have human feelings. They can change into pretty girls. People like and respect them. The most well-known is the story about the White Snake and the Blue Snake.
In fact, snakes are not as dreadful as they look. They can help us to kill mice and pests. They can provide us with delicious meat. Their blood is a good drink. Poisonous snakes are especially useful. We can make valuable drugs with them.

Animals are friends of human beings. Most of them are lovely. I like giraffe the most. They are very tall and have many brown spots. They have very long necks, so that they can eat the leaves in high trees. Giraffes are gentle and lovely. They are friendly to people. When I go to the zoo, I always look at them. They move slowly. I can’t keep it as a pet, because it’s so huge. It’s a big pity.

動(dòng)物英語作文 篇5
Yesterday, I briefly introduced my small fish, today, I will write my small fish completely.
One day, when I finished my homework, I had nothing to do. I thought about what I could do, and finally I thought of my little fish. I grabbed two small fish and put them in the bathtub to swim. As soon as the fish was thrown into the water, the two small fish swam quickly. The "little black" posture is like a piece of wood, moving steadily forward, while "little old man" is like a submarine, with a heavy head on the "S" step. Because of this, "small black" the first game station wins "little old man".
One day, I saw two little fish swimming listlessly. I looked, thought, ah! No, I haven't fed them for five days. So, hurriedly ran past, took the fish to eat into the tank to throw, two small rain to you, I a bite, to grab the fish food. "Little black" a carp jump dragon gate, eat a lot of fish food; The "little old man" was not willing to show weakness, a dive took a lot of fish food. And every time I feed the little brown rock, it doesn't look at it, it's like nothing happens, it's not knowing when, it's stealing the fish.
I really like my little fish, and I hope they live happily in my aquarium.
動(dòng)物英語作文 篇6
Nowadays, experimental usage of animal has become a widely concerned issue around the world. People hold diverse views towards it.
Adversaries claim that it is an extremely crude behavior. Animals, especially mammals, like dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, which are the major victims in the experimentation, are usually human’s pets.
Pet owners are strongly against it for they firmly believe that animals suffer physically and mentally as we do. When equality is advocated in the modern world, it is inhuman to disrespect creatures that are not human beings.
Furthermore, a number of experts pointed out that it would be at high stake of depending on the results of animal experiment; since they differ from us in many ways.
Take the body structure for example, we can’t imagine humans try to jump from the height of nine stories without any protection because cats survive out of the same test.
Those in favor of the idea about usage of animal declare that using animal is an advisable choice.
On one hand because their bodies are similar in function to ours. For instance, they catch colds, suffer from stomachs and heart diseases, which more importantly influenced by diet and habits.
The consequences of the test may not be applied to humans, although they are highly connected to the human situations. On the other hand, those creatures yell and act abnormally when they feel uncomfortable, which is what exactly researchers expect. In addition, there is an easy-to-answer question:isn’t it crueler to test directly on people with little knowledge on the objects’ effects? In a word, there is nothing better than animal that resemble human the best for experiment.
Personally, I am not a supporter of animal experiments, yet there is anything more suitable can replace them, I accept using animals for tests, but take good care of them when they are not in the laboratory.
動(dòng)物英語作文 篇7
When did this old story come from? When did it happen? Whether could be explained as a real one or just a legend? Who knows.
Sadness blooming, the old captain sat along the shore, his feet touching the chill seawater, however it can't match the chilling factor in his heart. Whatever, this damned sea swallowed all the happiness he had owned just several days before, his beloved wife, his pretty babies, nothing can be compared with his hatred for the unexpected storm, which unexpectedly brought his life into endless darkness, more or less, at this moment.
Slowly he closed his eyes with blank mind, nothing coming into it except desperation.
So funny, a bitter smile slipped crossing his face, "who said that stupid thing 'Tomorrow is another day.' why can't I feel anything different when the sunshine falling down this cruel coast"he said to himself, eyes red.
動(dòng)物英語作文 篇8
Animals were friends or foes of humanity at different stages of the human history. In modern times, experiments upon animals have been a breeding ground for spirited debate. Some animal rights activists argue that we should ban animal experiments altogether because subjecting animals to experimentation is unwarranted on moral grounds, whereas some other people contend that the advancement of science necessitates animal testing. Personally, I am in favor of the latter view.
Granted, mounting empirical evidence suggests that many animal experiments are performed callously without any heed to the discomfort or pain that laboratory mammals endure. For one thing, improper confinement of test animals such as locking them up in cramped cages is inhumane; and this, in turn, can severely disrupt natural biological functions of the test animal. For another, the effects of vaccination or vivisection conducted on live mammals can be chilling. In extreme cases, they constitute sheer torture of animals.
Nevertheless, from a more pragmatic standpoint, evidence abounds that animal subjects are still an indispensable part of scientific research at this phase of human development. In the first place, drug experimentation on live mammals is, indisputably, far more effectual than experimentation on bacteria or on other lower species in determining drug safety. Medical history informs that drugs that can potentially exert grave side effects on homo sapiens must be tested by pharmaceutical companies on live mammals first to ascertain their toxicity. In the second place, in the realm of space research, live animals are still practical alternatives on a flight not considered to be sufficiently safe for human astronauts. And I would be hard-pressed to imagine the scenario that human lives should be put at stake when the objective of a space mission is merely to identify living creatures reaction to outer space experience. Lastly, lab research about the behavioral tendencies of chimpanzees, gorillas or other members of the primate group is also a worthy endeavor, in light of the fact that it generates outcomes consistently advancing anthropological and genetic sciences.
