湖面上大片的荷花開放了，有粉紅的、有淡黃的、還有雪白的，朵朵嬌艷欲滴、美不勝收。一只只蜻蜓輕輕地落在花瓣上，我不禁想起了楊萬里的詩句：“小荷才露尖尖角，早有蜻蜓立上頭”。湖水里鳶飛魚躍，幾只大白鵝歡快地游著，“呱呱”地叫著。這些美景仿佛像一幅五顏六色的巨大畫卷，真叫人流連往返。
大明湖的擴(kuò)建新區(qū)里共有八大景觀，包括：超然致遠(yuǎn)、鳥啼綠蔭、七橋風(fēng)月、秋柳含煙等，處處有亭臺(tái)樓閣、水榭長(zhǎng)廊，真是引人入勝。另外還有28座造型獨(dú)特、各有不同的橋，更讓人贊不絕口。
沿著湖岸，我們不知疲倦地走著，仿佛自己也融進(jìn)了這如詩如畫的美景之中，如荷花、如蜻蜓、如這清澈的湖水。
