我的家鄉(xiāng)——同安，自然條件優(yōu)越，物產(chǎn)資源豐富。特別是家鄉(xiāng)的龍眼更是飲譽中外。

龍眼，因其八月成熟，八月又稱桂月，且其果實呈球形，故又名桂圓。它還有其它名稱，如“驪珠”、“燕卵”等。那么，同安人為什么稱之為“龍眼”呢？據(jù)傳，古時同安一位少年與惡龍搏斗，龍的眼珠掉在地上。不久，那地方就長出一棵樹，樹上結(jié)出了顆顆果子。后來，人們?yōu)榧o(jì)念這位少年的功績，就把樹上結(jié)出的`果子叫做“龍眼”。
