Easter is the most important religious feast in the Christian liturgical year. Christians believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead two days after his crucifixion, and celebrate this resurrection on Easter Sunday, two days after Good Friday.
The year of this resurrection is variously estimated between the years 26 and 36 AD (see also Chronology of Jesus).
Many non-sectarian cultural elements, such as the Easter Bunny, have become part of the holiday‘s modern celebrations, and those aspects are often celebrated by many Christians and non-Christians alike.

We celebrate not only the resurrection of Jesus, but also the death process of Jesus, and then enter the glory of resurrection. In the passage of the Easter Mass, the song of Conrad, the royal court priest (Wipo), in the early eleventh Century, was included in the songs, singing or reciting during the eight day of the resurrection. The Religious Drama developed in the middle ages is the initial inspiration for the first holy poem. The poem of Wei glass naturally reminds us of the vivid scene of the resurrection: tell us, Maria, what do you see on the road? - I see the grave of the eternal Christ, and the glorious glory of his resurrection, and the angel's work. Card, and the napkin, and the linen cloths of Christ "- my expectations had risen, he would take you to Gary sub rib. We know that Christ is indeed risen from the dead.
In the middle ages, all Christians celebrated on Easter sunrise, for according to the ancient legend, the sun leaped three times in the early morning of Easter, with the glory of the resurrection of Jesus, the light of the clouds dancing like an angel. In the early morning of Easter, the people of Europe gathered in the wilderness or mountain to watch the glory of the sunrise, the song and bells at the break of dawn, the band and the chant of arria and the song of praise to celebrate the rising sun of the rising of Jesus. So far, this morning homage habit is still preserved in the Austria Alps.

Since its conception as a holy celebration in the second century, Easter has hadits non-religious side. In fact, Easter was originally a pagan festival.
The ancient Saxons celebrated the return of spring with an uproarious festival commemorating their goddess of offspring and of springtime, Eastre. When the second-century Christian missionaries encountered the tribes of the north with their pagan celebrations, they attempted to convert them to Christianity. They did so, however, in a clandestine manner.
It would have been suicide for the very early Christian converts to celebrate their holy days with observances that did not coincide with celebrations that already existed. To save lives, the missionaries cleverly decided to spread their religious message slowly throughout the populations by allowing them to continue to celebrate pagan feasts, but to do so in a Christian manner.
As it happened, the pagan festival of Eastre occurred at the same time of year as the Christian observance of the Resurrection of Christ. It made sense, therefore, to alter the festival itself, to make it a Christian celebration as converts were slowly won over. The early name, Eastre, was eventually changed to its modern spelling,Easter.

Easter, like Christmas, is an exotic holiday.
In the book of the New Testament, Jesus was put to death on the cross, the third days of the body resurrected, and the Easter was named.
Easter is the most important festival of Christian religion. It is more important than Christmas, and the origins and festivals of religion are in Israel. According to the Bible, the gospel of Matthew, Jesus Christ was resurrected three days after the death of the crucifixion, thus setting up this festival. According to the historian "Bible" and Israel advanced the date of Passover, calculated in the equinox (March 21st) after the first Sunday after the full moon is mentioned in the "Bible" of Jesus christ. As the annual vernal equinox is not fixed, the annual Easter date is also uncertain. But the period is roughly between March 22nd and April 25th.
As for the death of Jesus Christ, the Christian doctrine is to redeem the sin of the world; the body of Jesus Christ is resurrected in order to call the believers to be immortal. Therefore, in the Christian religion, Easter is of great significance.
Most of the festivals in Britain originate from religion. The first Sunday of Easter in the full moon after the vernal equinox, the original is to commemorate the West pagan gods Baal's half sister was born one day, one is the mistress of baal. Legend of Baal that one sister was born in a swan egg, to find found, shrubs; on his arms hatched a rabbit; rabbit grew up to be a beautiful woman, and Baal Baal together, later in times of crisis also saved the life of baal. Easter is one of the words in English etymology.

Easter is a festival to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ after the crucifixion of the crucifixion. The Western Christian countries have passed this festival.
Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus and is also the most important festival of Christianity. According to the Bible, the son of God, Jesus, was born in a manger, and when he was thirty years old, he picked twelve students and began to preach. Three and a half years, his preaching, healing, demons, help all people in need, the reason that the kingdom of heaven to listen to. Until God arranged to be disciples of Jesus Christ, Judah betrayed, arrested, interrogated, by Rome soldiers crucified, died three days after the resurrection will be predicted. Indeed, on the third day, Jesus was resurrected! According to the interpretation of the Bible, Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son to redeem the world for the sins of the world, becoming the scapegoat of the world, which is why Easter is so important.
Though Jesus was crucified like a prisoner, he died not because he was guilty, but to make atonement for the world in accordance with the plan of God. He resurrected from the dead, indicating that he was able to make atonement for us. If anyone believes in him and pleads with him, he can get a pardon from God. And Jesus's resurrection represents him more than death, so all those who trust him have eternal life, and that is to be with Jesus forever. Because Jesus is still alive, so he can hear our prayer to him, will take care of our daily life, give us strength and make every day full of hope. Jesus is still alive, with us every day.

Prior to A.D. 325, Easter was variously celebrated on different days of the week, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In that year, the Council of Nicaea was convened by emperor Constantine. It issued the Easter Rule which states that Easter shall be celebrated on the first Sunday that occurs after the first full moon on or after the vernal equinox. However, a caveat must be introduced here. The "full moon" in the rule is the ecclesiastical full moon, which is defined as the fourteenth day of a tabular lunation, where day 1 corresponds to the ecclesiastical New Moon. It does not always occur on the same date as the astronomical full moon. The ecclesiastical "vernal equinox" is always on March 21. Therefore, Easter must be celebrated on a Sunday between the dates of March 22 and April 25.
