在一個深深的`地洞里，住著一對老鼠兄弟。哥哥脾氣暴躁，做事干脆利落、輕手輕腳；弟弟膽子小，做事粗手粗腳。因此，總是哥哥出去找食物，弟弟根本本幫不上忙。

日子一天天過去了，弟弟漸漸覺得自己是靠哥哥生活。似乎自己是個多余的人。所以，弟弟決定明天自己去捕食。
