由于受到母語的影響，提起英語作文這個話題，著實(shí)令許多的學(xué)生望而生畏，不少學(xué)生習(xí)慣了用中文思維方式和表現(xiàn)手法來寫作文，其內(nèi)容和質(zhì)量可想而知。那么在新課改的形式下，如何提高學(xué)生的書面表達(dá)能力？日前已成為廣大英語教師努力探討和期待解決的一個問題。
一、激發(fā)學(xué)生的寫作興趣，才能調(diào)動學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性
興趣是學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)成敗的重要因素。要讓學(xué)生置身于良好的英語學(xué)習(xí)氣氛中，使每一位學(xué)生以輕松愉快的心情參與課堂教學(xué)，在潛移默化中掌握英語知識。
二、由簡到繁進(jìn)行寫作訓(xùn)練
學(xué)生剛接觸英語時，有懼怕英語的心理，老師此時應(yīng)根據(jù)教學(xué)規(guī)律先易后難、由簡到繁的原則，用簡單的詞組組成句子，對學(xué)生逐步訓(xùn)練，以此為起點(diǎn)，慢慢積累，使學(xué)生樂于接受、輕松完成，享受到成功感。教師在平日英語教學(xué)中要注意學(xué)生在寫作中出現(xiàn)的句式錯誤，告訴學(xué)生所有的文章都是由單詞到詞組、詞組到句子、句子到段落、段落到文章循序漸進(jìn)而成，所以對一些基本的單詞、常見的句型一定要牢記心中，這樣既可以使文章錦上添花，又可以減少語法錯誤。
例如以way為例，way涉及到這些詞組：on one’s way to、lose one’s way、by the way、the way to、go this way等。這些詞組可以組成以下句子：
On my way to school I picked a pen up yesterday.
The girl lost her way just now.
By the way,can you take me to the park?
Excuse me,which is the way to the school?
In this way,floods are prevented.
這種做法使學(xué)生擴(kuò)大了詞匯量，積累了知識，也為學(xué)生自由表達(dá)內(nèi)心世界提供了有力的條件和廣闊的空間。這也符合新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)所提出的要為學(xué)生自主寫作提供空間的原則，既減少了對學(xué)生寫作的束縛，又激發(fā)了學(xué)生自由表達(dá)的能力，提高了他們學(xué)習(xí)英文的興趣。
三、訓(xùn)練模式要多樣化
英語寫作是一種抽象的枯燥的事情，要想讓學(xué)生滿懷熱情地學(xué)習(xí)，必須改變傳統(tǒng)的單一的教學(xué)訓(xùn)練模式，訓(xùn)練的題材更需要靈活多變。我們教師可以采用看圖作文、關(guān)鍵詞作文、情景作文、口頭作文、命題作文、自由作文等各種形式。
四、以課本為基礎(chǔ)，發(fā)散學(xué)生的作文思維
例如，一個問句可以用多種方法提問，也可以用多種方法回答。像這樣的句子：
Excuse me,where is the school?
Excuse me,which is the way to the school?
Could you tell me how I can get to the school?
Could you tell me how to reach the school?
回答時我們可以采用多種方式來作答：
Walk along the street, take the second turning on the left.
Go along the road,turn left at the second crossing and so on.

I like to take him to visit to Beijing ,the capital city of China. Beijing is steeped in culture ,with a history of 3000 years .There are loads of monuments, in Beijing , like the fobidden city,the great wall and the summer palace . I am totally fascinated by its culture .
I went to Beijing when I was in my primary school ,but it did not leave me a deep impression . Because I was too young to understand the Chinese historical culture and it was difficult for a littlechild to be interested in it. I just felt the weather in Beijing was hot ,also very dry and the roast duck was really delicious.But now I regret for not learning the knowledge of cultural heritages in Bejing at that time.I am planning to study abroad and I want to introduce a lot of interesting Chinese culture to foreigners . But in fact I do not know it clearly ,even many foreigners know more things about Beijing than I know . It makes me feel kind of embarrassed.
So I am looking forward to paying a visit to Beijing and looking around all the monuments in Beijing . I hope I can learn some valuable things about chinese history.
