　　Why are they so over-enthusiastic about studying abroad? One of the reasons may be that they prefer a different style of life, which can open a new world to them and help enrich their experiences. Moreover, he or she will become a multi-cultural person.Secondly, they can improve their foreign language quickly, and thus they are likely to get a good job. Lastly, better laboratory equipment and large amounts of information may be another attraction for many students.

Some people hold that natural scenes, especially at dawn, are the most beautiful on the campus while others believe that it is in the afternoon when the playgrounds are flooded with students taking part in sports.In my opinion, the best scene on the campus is during the rush hour when thousands of students rush towards the canteen.

　　At precisely the same time as the bell rings, some students dash from the chairs, rushing to the canteen. They set the prelude to the most attractive scene of the whole day.

　　Within a few minutes, all the classrooms become empty and everyone starts their journey for lunch, on foot or by bike. It gives people the impression that lunch is the most important thing in the world. Most of the students move at the same speed,with the exception of several excellent cyclists. They shuttle smoothly in the crowds just like fish swimming freely in the sea.

　　On the way to the canteen, everyone looks anxious. But once inside, a look of pride and triumph takes over. Sometimes,it bubbles up in my mind that the rush hour hustle and bustle is the epitome of the intense competition in real life. 　　in my point of view, to bridge the gap between the promise and reality, beijing still has a long way to go. to begin with, infrastructure construction should be the primary concern. such infrastructures as communications and transportation system and facilities ought to draw our constant attention. first, traffic jam has been an age瞣ld headache in beijing. the scene of long queues of vehicles worming their way inch by inch will surely cause great incontinence, and blemish the image of the city meanwhile. next, to add enchantment to convenience, overall city瞤lanning is indispensable. time permitting, a redesign of city layout and adjustment of architectural style would provide a better environment for fostering the characteristic, blending, oriental elegance with international grandeur, will tower aloft among surrounding architectures. to achieve such effect, beijing shall solicit opinions from first瞨ate architects and make an overall plan. thirdly, quality of the population should be improved. to make an international metropolis, both “hardware” and “software” are important.

　　finally, let’s think about the low-income groups in the city. what will they get from the olympics bidding? more tax, more fees, more expensive property prices, and higher cost of living. these definitely are not good news for them.
