With a fascination with magic forcenturies, there is a heated debate about the disclosure of magic people thirst for the revelation of the magic secrets so that they mayobtain some of the know-how and perform some magic on their own. They believethat the trend of revealing magic secrets is irresistible. But I don’t see eyeto eye with them and I insist that the secrets behind the magic should not bedisclosed.
魔術(shù)的魅力久經(jīng)不衰，但是最近有一個(gè)關(guān)于是否要揭露魔術(shù)秘密的熱烈爭(zhēng)論。有些人渴望揭露魔術(shù)的秘密，這樣他們就能知道怎么表演，然后自己表演魔術(shù)了。他們相信揭露魔術(shù)秘密的趨勢(shì)是不可抗拒的。但是我的.看法和他們不一樣，我堅(jiān)信魔術(shù)的秘密不該揭露出來(lái)。
I have two reasons to supportmy view. In the first place, the audience is fascinated with the magic becausethey like the feeling of being kept in suspense. If the secrets behind themagic are known to them, they would fell that the magic is nothing but a pettytrick and the magicians are ridiculous clowns rather than demigods. In thesecond place, magic requiring laborious hours and considerable money are whatthe magicians live on, so revealing the magic secrets will result in a detriment to the interest of the magicians. The magicians couldnot perform the magic that happen to be known to the audience and therefore,they have less chance to earn money.
我有兩個(gè)理由來(lái)支持我的觀點(diǎn)。第一，觀眾之所以感受到魔術(shù)的魅力是因?yàn)樗麄兿矚g保持懸疑的感覺(jué)。如果魔術(shù)背后的秘密被揭穿，他們就會(huì)覺(jué)得魔術(shù)只是一些小伎倆，魔術(shù)師只是個(gè)可笑的小丑，而不是大神。第二，魔術(shù)需要魔術(shù)師長(zhǎng)久的練習(xí)和大量的資金投入，所以如果揭露魔術(shù)的秘密就會(huì)導(dǎo)致魔術(shù)師利益的損失。魔術(shù)師不能表演那些觀眾已經(jīng)知道秘密的魔術(shù)，因此，他們就沒(méi)什么機(jī)會(huì)賺錢(qián)了。

Towards love and learning， college teachers and students hold controversial views。
The majority of college teachers， especially old teachers， argue that students should give up love and concentrate on learning。 They say that campus love is-time-and energyconsuming and tears students away from their main task。 If a student ever falls in love， he/she will undoubtedly neglect his/ her studies and gradually lag behind his/her classmates。 A few teachers， therefore， suggest that the university authorities restore the traditional regulation against love during students’school years。
On the contrary， students hold that it is natural for young people to fall in love on the campus because they meet every day and their everyday meeting produces romantic passion towards each other。 They insist that the campus is not the Garden of Eden and love is not the Forbidden Tree。 They take for example some of their friends who， falling in love， are studying harder and have made greater progress to please their boy/girl friends。
In my opinion， both views are lop sided。 If astudent does not give himself/herself away in love but takes it as a drive， love produces positive effect。 But if he/she indulges himself/ herself too deeply in love， then he/she will be a devoted lover but a frustrated learner。

彼得·麥卡蒂是一位了不起的圖畫(huà)書(shū)作家，他用水彩和彩鉛涂繪出的兩位圓滾滾的主人公，正是那種小孩子一看到就愛(ài)不釋手的形象。書(shū)中菲比被小主人抱住時(shí)仿佛在掙扎、渾身肉乎乎的感覺(jué)，讓每一個(gè)讀到這里的小朋友都忍不住想要嘗試著抱一抱她!小狗紅豆吃飽之后，躺在他最喜歡的地方，四條小短腿懸在那里，整個(gè)身體仿佛被充了氣一樣鼓鼓的，此時(shí)的紅豆真的很像毛絨玩具店櫥窗中展示的樣品!
