在大家期盼的目光中，徐老師快步走上講臺(tái)，宣布“元旦聯(lián)歡會(huì)”正式開始。第一個(gè)項(xiàng)目——成語(yǔ)賽場(chǎng)。我們?nèi)喾殖蓛山M，學(xué)號(hào)是單數(shù)的為一組，叫“新年隊(duì)”;學(xué)號(hào)是雙數(shù)的為一組，叫“快樂隊(duì)”。兩個(gè)組輪流說出帶“新”字的成語(yǔ)，以畫正的方式記錄。答出一個(gè)記一筆，一筆算十分。比賽結(jié)束，哪組得的分多，在這一項(xiàng)比賽中，就獲勝。
比賽終于開始了，同學(xué)們個(gè)個(gè)磨拳擦掌，躍躍欲試，準(zhǔn)備好好表現(xiàn)一下。先是我們這組回答，我們這組順利地回答完了，另一組的同學(xué)也爭(zhēng)先恐后地把想好的成語(yǔ)說出來，“日新月異、萬(wàn)象更新、推陳出新、喜新厭舊……”就這樣我們兩組展開了激烈的角逐。到比賽接近尾聲的時(shí)候，能想到的成語(yǔ)幾乎都說了個(gè)遍。輪到我們這組回答時(shí)，大家都抓耳撓腮，搜腸刮肚地想，拼命地找資料，個(gè)個(gè)小臉漲得通紅。我也不例外，絞盡腦汁，在腦海中搜索帶“新”字的成語(yǔ)。突然，我眼前一亮，想到了一個(gè)成語(yǔ)，“吸新吐故”。“嘻嘻”，我興奮極了，立刻把手舉得高高的。老師叫我回答，我脫口而出：“吸新吐故”。老師微笑著說：“回答正確。”并給我們組加了一筆。這時(shí)“快樂隊(duì)”個(gè)個(gè)垂頭喪氣，有的“唉”地嘆了口氣，有的說了一句：“又被說了。”……最后，比賽結(jié)束了，我們組得到了210分，而對(duì)方只得到了190分。我們組以20分暫時(shí)領(lǐng)先。
接下來，還進(jìn)行了謎語(yǔ)大賽、新人新事、新年寄語(yǔ)。老師的新年寄語(yǔ)是：“祝……在新的1年之際，好事接2連3，心情4季如春，生活5顏6色、7彩繽紛，工作8面威風(fēng)，把煩惱拋到9宵云外，我把我10心10意的祝福送給我最喜歡的人——實(shí)驗(yàn)小學(xué)五(一)班的每一位同學(xué)……”
不知不覺，一場(chǎng)有趣的“元旦聯(lián)歡會(huì)”在一陣陣鼓掌聲中結(jié)束了。同黨們臉上都洋溢著歡樂的笑容，似乎還回味著剛才的激烈的比賽呢!
