在每一個人的生活中，都會有舉不勝舉的“第一次”，在我的腦海中讓我記憶猶新的“第一次”，就是我參加英語考級的情景。
記得那是一個周六的下午，爸爸和媽媽帶我去參加劍橋英語五級考試，我心里既緊張又激動，緊張是因為擔心自己發(fā)揮不好考不過，激動是因為準備了這么久，希望自己能考個好成績。一路上爸爸媽媽跟我說說笑笑來讓我放松，媽媽給我鼓勁說：“你前段時間復習得很認真，相信你一定能通過考級的！”
進入考場了，我立刻緊張起來，我心里打起鼓來，感覺心都提到嗓子眼了。這時響起了鈴聲，考官開始發(fā)卷子。我打開試卷先從頭到尾看了一遍卷子，心里有點底了，心想：哇！這些題型在家里都做過，只要我認真，一定可以考好！我認認真真地從第一部分開始做起來。
當我做到第四部分時，發(fā)現(xiàn)題量好大，閱讀部分居然有10道題！我心里有點緊張，手心都出汗了，這時我想起媽媽跟我說：“在考試中即使錯個一道兩道題也沒關系，因為考120分就能通過。只要你認真對待，認真讀題，把你學的知識都發(fā)揮出來就一定能通過！”我做了一次深呼吸，沉下心開始認真做題了。等我做完閱讀題后，發(fā)現(xiàn)真的沒有我想象中的那么難。
我繼續(xù)往下做，做到開放完形填空時，這部分是我以前在家練習的'時候丟分比較多的地方，都是填空題，連選項都沒有，好難��！我心里有很多問號，心里七上八下的，會不會都不會做��？我該怎么辦呢？我給自己打氣：“一定要沉住氣！”我認真審題、仔細回憶平時學過的詞組和固定搭配，終于把題做完了。
準備做聽力題了，聽力是我的強項，再加上我坐在第一排，老師把聲音調的很大，我覺得最起碼自己不會因聽不清而失分。聽力的語速播放得有些快，幸虧每道題播放兩遍，我抓緊利用第二遍的時間進行檢查。
出了考場，我覺得考得不錯，一定能通過考級，我跟媽媽談了談我對這次考級的感悟：一方面，幸虧之前的兩個多月時間，我認真進行了學習，做了很多的卷子，而且學習的東西幾乎都被我“消化”掉了，心里有底氣；另一方面，考級的時候一定要沉住氣，因為成功一定會屬于真心付出的人的。
