          收獲Harvest - 初中英語作文 1

This is a harvest season. In the golden autumn, the farmers harvest the ripe wheat. Teachers harvest the fruits of their labor, because their students have grown up.

I also harvest, because I think I have grown up, too. I often hear someone say, "time flies." To us, time is fair to everybody. Time and tide wait for no man. I have read a book. The writer said, "dont repent when you are old." So we must do everything we want to do. We should spend more time on our study. Dont waste time. So that when we are old we wont feel regretful.

People often say, "time is knowledge." If you have knowledge, you will have a brighter future. Then you will have an ideal life.

Now, I have harvested these keys to success. I believe I can use these keys to open it and get more harvest.

          收獲Harvest - 初中英語作文 2

It is autumn now, people like this season very much, because it is a harvest season.

In the picture, we can see many corns on the ground, they are so big, so many, the yellow grains come up to each other, closer and closer, make a corn heavier and heavier.

This scene makes everybody smile. They will have enough food to eat, leave hungry behind.

A child is sitting on the corns, he is so excited that he picks up one of the corns, and try to eat it. From his eyes, we know he wants to say "I am not hungry now." this picture tells us the grains are precious, we need to treasure them instead of wasting them.

          收獲Harvest - 初中英語作文 3

I always hear about my friends’ complaining, they say their income is such low that they can’t not make ends meet. At first, I would pity for them, but in the long run, I find their work is so easy, they just sit in the office from 9 am to 5 pm, they even don’t need to go out for business.

While I see another friend, he works so hard, his working hour is very unstable, sometimes he even works until 9 pm. The fact is that he earns the most between my friends. It is true that no pain, no gain, if people want more, they need to pay out more. Comparing to be envy about other people’s great income, we’d better to work hard to realize what we want. There is not short-cut for people to get successful, working hard is the only way.

I’m a student from Green Middle School. My name is Li Ming. I like helping others because I think it makes me very happy.

I often help my classmates with their schoolwork. Sometimes I help clean up city parks. I go to the old people’s home and do some cleaning for them once a month. So I’m pretty popular there. I often visit the children’s hospital to cheer the sick kids up. I read stories and sing songs for them. I am good with children. I also give money to charities to help people in trouble.

I think giving is receiving. Helping others is helping ourselves. Do you agree with me?

I have many hobbies. And after class I usually attend many kinds of activies.

My favourate activity is playing basketball. During this game, on one hand, I can build up my body, make many new friends and, above all, I can learn to coorperate with my teamates. This,I think, will do good to me after I grow up and when I work with others. On the other hand,I can learn many skills and also can help myself to be more cablabe to bare hardship and solve difficulties.Though every time when I finish this game, I am black and white. I will go on playing it the other day.

I also have learned to be brave from the game. One day, when my friends and I were playing basketball, it began to rain. It was not very heavy, but two of my friends wanted to give up. But the other five and I wanted to go on. And we went on playing it. Luckily, two or three minutes later, it stopped rain,so we enjoyed ourself more than before and we learned never to give up if we met any difficulty.

I also like playing chess.I think it is a very good game. By playing chess, I can not only learn to think of the right way to deal with all different matters, but also learn to contral myself. When the situation is good, I have learned not to be proud;when it is not good, I have learned not to lose heart.

I also join in some other activities, such as swimming, running, playing computer games, visiting friends and so on.

In a word, from all these activities, I have learned a lot and I believe It will help me a lot and I will go on with it.

          收獲Harvest - 初中英語作文 13

The saying “No pains, no gains” is almost universally accepted because of the plain yet philosophical moral it teaches: if one wants to achieve something, he has to work harder and tolerate more than others. The saying is true of any pursuit man seeks. Whatever one wishes to accomplish, he has to exert himself to forge ahead, for nobody can expect anything for nothing.

A case in point is boxing. While we heap cheers on the winner, how many happen to realize that his gold belt is won at the cost of his sweat, tears, blood over years and sometimes even at threat of his life before the arrival of that exciting moment? Whatever worthy we do, wherever we are, we should bear in mind: never expect anything for nothing. Success does not bother to visit the one who does not, bit by bit, prepare for it. Success and good fortune are always trying to find the best prepared.

The plain truth of the saying is also expressed in such famous sayings as “If we want light, then we must first conquer darkness.” and “Failure is the mother of success.” signaling that efforts and hard work always come before success. By and large, if we are determined to accomplish anything worthy, we should convince ourselves that “Never dream of gains without pains, and we should learn to give before getting.”

          收獲Harvest - 初中英語作文 14

It is obvious to everybody that the only way to achieve one s goal is to work hard. Just as the old saying goes no mill, no meal . Have you ever seen a man who succeeds just by idling about? Of course, the answer is No . So we know if you want to gain something, you will have pains.

The farmers harvest by a year of arduous work; the scientists gain achievements by years of devoted researches; students get good marks by working hard; even the little ants have their food by working hard day and night. 1 know there are always some people who wait for the opportunities falling on them. They may attribute their failures to lack of good chances. Therefore, there are so many people gaining nothing at last. Clever men know that the more effort they make, the bigger chance they will have to be successful.

So, when others achieve their aspirations and you still gain nothing, don t complain about the unfair.
